Qantas business class & premium economy sale? Looking to travel melb-London July 2015 when is best time to book? Are there any regular sales for that period given it's park season?
If you are in the QFF programme sign up for email alerts to notify you of sales. The bookings they have, or lack of, will dictate when they put on a sale. Don't even think of booking before new year unless you see a sale price that looks super cheap! Check the website every few days as a non-published sale for just a few days may pop up. Good luck!
Ooh, tricky. You're looking to travel during southern winter, which is when there is a massive exodus of people north. Promotional fares for that period probably won't come till after Christmas, but start looking now.
That having been said, I've managed to get a SIN-SYD-SIN return for S$670/A$580 just last night (SIN-SYD 31 Dec 14, SYD-SIN 28 Jun 14 - both peak season).
You may also wish to look at other carriers on the route.
Why would you fly QF at all, when when you have other one world options, such at Cathay, which would still give you QF miles? If you're not locked into one world, maybe consider another decent airline like THAI, which regularly has good Europe special offers in business - and the smiling helpful service will be much more guaranteed, than risk the "on or off" approach QF seems to take in bothering about its customers. I've also found their fares to be MUCH cheaper than QF for a decent seat to Eurpope , great connections too through BKK and a nice comp massage in the TG lounge in your 2 hour transit time. No comparison in terms of service or economics. Good luck
Qantas Premium Economy, that really makes me smile. It's sad to think Premium Economy doesn't even come close to good old plain ordinary everday economy of 20 years ago. Can anyone tell me what you actually get, except sitting on the upper deck of the a380 Red Tail at the rear in what Emirates have as a coctail bar. All reports I've heard say the food, service and personal space and comfort is a rip off. The very idea of premium economy implies theres something awfully wrong with just economy. Must have been a brainwave in marketing that, Premium Economy.
