Best Seats in QF A380 in F travelling with companion. Hi all. I have booked my Mum and Dad a F flight from LHR - Mel in F on the Qantas A380. Has anyone who has flown this before recommend the best seats for them to take as they are travelling together. Is there a side of the plane best suited for say a window and centre seat so they can see each other? Iv flown F on the A380 before but was by myself. I didn't take note of the centre seats etc. Any help or advice would be great.

Hi LoveToFly, no combination is ideal for eye contact as the semi-suite design is reasonably effective for privacy, however they will need to sit on the right hand side if they wish to see each other at all. The centre seats have a partition above a fixed wall that is raised on their left side after take-off until descent to give privacy. Otherwise, the "A" seats on the left hand side would see directly into the centre "F" seats. In my opinion, having flown this with my partner a number of times, I would recommend 4F and 5K. No-one will be walking past them as they are at the back of the cabin and they will be able to exchange a pretty good view of each other if the person in 4F leans out and looks around over their right shoulder. Our personal preference is to each grab a window seat and visit each other if we need to, but I understand that your parents might want something else.
