I must say the last sectors on my r/t to LA on QF 8 BNE/SYD to QF11 to LA a couple of weeks ago were excellent i wish all were the same with that consistancy of in flight service...So Paa i await to here your experience.
Recently used both the QF & VA "cashcards" in Singapore and Hong Kong, without any issues. I would prefer to be able to select my own PIN with the QF one, but thats a minor pain.
Maybe you have to change the default country, as you move from one to the other.
This is pure speculation, but when I travel with both the VA and the QF card (VGW & QC), I keep getting asked (in NZ), whether I want to use Aud$ or Nzd$ to pay for purchases, especially the ones for the hotel stays.
I did not change the default currency for either, maybe I should have changed them both to Nzd$ when I went over the ditch. These were for the past two trips.
