What do you all think of the case of the man who was ejected off a Tiger flight by the Federal Police because another passenger invaded his privacy and read the sarcastic comments about our current state of security he had written in his notebook?
Interesting, I suspect that this is only the beginning of a what is to come for Australia in regards to terrorism, national sercurity and how we deal with this occurances. I can see more of these situations happening as IMHO fear is instilled into our peaceful soceity.
I agree, I too only expect this in America. But to highlight just how dumb the public is, period. I live on the Sunshine Coast, Q. The muslim community are trying to build a mousqe. This yesterday was met with protests by over 500 people. ( was on the news) This anger and fear is manufactured by what people see from the news and the government.
I see the line will only be pushed back further, where ever it may be...
The airlines will always put safety first but then I question what is considered unsafe? This will only get worse before it gets better.
I think the most annoying thing is the other passenger was reading his personal notes and then have the nerve to complain over someone who didnt even have bad intentions. if anything it should have been the person complaining getting kicked off the plane

I expect this in America. Not this country. Is our travelling public that dumb?
I understand if it's a t-shirt or something visual. But someone's notebook. Where do we as a society draw the line?
What policies should airlines follow? Or will the mob decide?
