It's probably been de-scoped as part of the drive to lower costs.

It's "simpler & fairer" not to have it. :-)

It's an enhancement - now you have the freedom to choose your own transport.

Its best not to use the word "enhancement" in regard to...

They still offer it on the Dubai / London flights but has been taken off the US flights most likely to save costs.

Because they reckon they'll make more money by not having it than by having it.

Drilling down a bit, because they can more successfully sell plane rides than bundled plane rides plus car rides. People (or more frequently, corporate travel departments) don't like paying a couple of hundred dollars extra on the cost of their plane ride to get a car ride thrown in as well. Debundling is especially important when you're dealing with customers who are under instructions to get the cheapest possible fare.

The competition only offer it on Dubai/ London, whereas QF were only ones offering it on other routes which meant their published fares looked higher

Hi

I actually meant the Qantas Drive program that gave you points regardless of the Airline or Class you travelled on. You paid it yourself but they gave you 3 points to a dollar

Google seems to show it has been renamed as:

Qantas Chauffeur Transfer, but seems to be limited to those using Qantas Valet

If you used Valet for your own car then got a Chauffeur at your destination? Is that what you mean?
