Shower facilities are located in the restrooms adjacent to the departures gate on the first floor of Terminal 1, and also in the second floor departures lounge. No facilities are available on arrival.

Do you have a connecting doestic flight? Or are you a QF Platinum or OW equivalent? You may be able to use the domestic QC as an arrivals lounge. http://www.qantas.com.au/fflyer/dyn/program/privilegesPlatinum#in-the-lounge

Domestic QC is in a separate terminal that is not accessible by foot.

True, and the connecting Qantas shuttle probably requires you to have an onwards boarding pass.

True, and the connecting Qantas shuttle probably requires you to have an onwards boarding pass. Well if you do have an onwards flight, or you simply want a shower that badly you could get a cab....this all sounds too much effort though.
