Qantas 747 vs Jetstar 787? I'm looking at a flight from Tokyo back to Brisbane, and have the option of either Qantas via Sydney or Jetstar to the Gold Coast. Qantas is ~$300 more expensive for the trip than Jetstar, but I'm a little hesitant when it comes to budget carriers. What would anybody recommend? Thanks!
What class are you going? I would take QF although it'll take longer as it's further odviously. Have you added all the extra's like food, IFE and checked baggage because if you need all this it may be almost the same as going QF plus QF has generally got better service and seat comfort is defianately better. happy travels.
I'm travelling economy class; and yeah if you add in baggage + IFE + food & drinks it comes to maybe $200 difference still. My gut feeling is Qantas, but I'm just trying to justify it to myself!
I'd take QF over JQ anyday. If youre flying a Dreamliner in Economy, avoid at all costs. I've flown both ANZ and JQ Dreamliners and experienced Economy, Business (JQ) Premium Economy, Economy (ANZ) and Economy with 17.2inch wide seating does not cut the mustard for me. Thats just my opinion anyway,
