I plan on booking a QF flight from FCO - SYD obviously via Dubai.

I plan on booking a QF flight from FCO - SYD obviously via Dubai. I have chosen the flight QF8096 to align with QF2 in DXB on return to SYD. I have two questions:

1) Will my luggage be checked the whole way through?

2) Will I attend the EK check-in desks in FMO to check-in for the FMO-DXB leg and then re-check in at DXB for QF2 to SYD?

You and your baggage will be checked through to SYD in FCO with both boarding passes and baggage receipt.

All you got to do in DXB is clear transit security then head to the QF gate (or lounge if you're in J/F/with status).
