Interlining with 3 separate flights, on 3 separate tix, on 3 separate carriers :)I'm wondering what my chances are on getting this done for me so I don't have to collect baggage and clear customs at each stop. I'll be flying:
SYD-BNE on QF
Then have 2.5 hours between landing in BNE and taking off on:
BNE-BKK on TG
Then have about 4 hours between landing in BKK and taking off on:
BKK-TLV on LY.
I can see on the Thai website that they do have interline agreements with both QF and LY. I am assuming that such agreements are reciprocal. So other than the Separate Ticket issue, they should do this for me, right?
Not sure if the following is relevant, but:
I have Qantas Silver status, so I can use the Premium Economy or Business Check-in for the Domestic flight in SYD.
I am flying on a TG award ticket booked by a friend who has 1K status with United. It appears I get my friend's status benefits while flying on this ticket (extra luggage allowance - which I prob won't use; lounge access; first to board; etc).
TIA for the advice!

I am assuming that what you are asking id for your baggage to be through checked. By the book, the answer is no. Qantas will only through check baggage on separate tickets if the airlines on the other tickets are oneWorld carriers. So, it is unlikely that QF in SYD will do it. TG may do it in BNE for the TLV flight under their policies for this situation.
