jman13 is correct. Rows 32 is best. 32A and 32K is my favourite.

But any seat on the upper deck is good except 36 D and  36E.

In first, my pick is 2A. In business, it is 12A. In W, it is 24A (exit row). In Y, it is 32A.

Spot on me thinks

My partner and I sat in 36J and 36K - the last row in the upper deck economy cabin on a MEL-LAX flight. There was VERY little noise from the galley and I'd have no problems sitting in those setas again.
