Has anyone ever used the Qantas / Emirates chauffeur service between the Gold Coast (i.e. Surfers Paradise) and Brisbane Airport when departing on a long haul flight..? If yes, were you charged anything additionally and if yes how much...? Would appreciate your feedback, thanks.

Presuming you are eligible for chauffeur drive, you are allowed 60 kilometres from Brisbane Airport, after that there is a $2.80 per kilometre surcharge.

As it is approximately 85 kilometres distance (using Google Maps) you will incur a surcharge of approximately $70 (give or take)

I find it interesting that Emirates does not readily publish this information on their website. They publish excess mileage (km) information for ADL, MEL, SYD etc. Just not BNE. I wonder why. 

Out of interest TRB I just had a look, BNE does appear on the Emirates chauffeur drive information page.

While BNE is in fact on the list, information for excess mileage and listing of suburbs (the pdf document) is not published, unlike other ports like ADL, MEL etc etc.
