Can Qantas Platinums access the Emirates first class lounge in Dubai?

Hi all i am travelling to Dubai business class on a QF ticket from Sydney as a Platinum Qantas. Can i gain access to Emirates first class lounge in dubai does anyone know?

Platinum QFF gain access to the EK first lounge in DXB when travelling on QF or EK services to Australia.

To clarify for our readers, Qantas Platinum members can indeed visit the Emirates First Lounge in Dubai whenever their onward flight is with Qantas or Emirates with a QF or EK flight number.

Did so mid 2014, wife and I had something like 8 staff waiting on us as the place was near empty, food was excellent.

Can be a queue for the showers though. Free massage is great, ask for a feedback form in the salon before they start and if not busy they will give you more than the cursory 20 min freebie!
