But you can't book QF107 - Qantas does not have domestiic traffic rights in the US. Under a QF multi-city booking you can book AA flights with QF flight numbers

The question infers that the origin is BNE /SYD / MEL as they're flying QF to NY, therefore cstevens can fly QF15/107/11/93 and have a couple of nights in LAX as a stopover then continue on QF107 to JFK. I've done it many times in both directions and booked through QF website under Multi City bookings.

I should also add that by later this year the QF flight numbers quoted above will be slightly different.

The QF website will allow you to book QF 107 with a stopover in LAX, if the flight originates in Australia and it booked in the same ticket. I have done this many times without any issues. You cannot book the QF107 on its own.

@Driley28 does it even need to orginate in Australia or just internationally? QF 'classic award' was giving me the option of DOHA-JFK (on Qatar) and JFK-LAX on QF18

@Hutch, only tried it from Australia. If it can be booked from another international destination then that is good news.
