The CEO and board of directors want you and your executive team to come up with a game changing strategy to invest to keep you ahead of the competition, where do you start...? (This hypothetical scenario can be applied to any market / airline and ignore the wider economic implications of low oil prices)

I'm pretty sure that the route is operated 4 weekly out of Sydney, a 777-300ER, but if you're unlucky enough, then it will be a A330-200.

Actually, if this thread is just a fantasy wishlist, I'd like to announce that in Q3 2015, Qantas released CYO breakfasts - two eggs, condiments and other items delivered to your seat with a hotplate, cook it your way.

1. Transfer all international routes (other than those out of Sydney) to Jetstar.
2. Increase fuel levies.
3. ???
4. Profit.

If I was at Qantas, I would first of all try cutting Emirates off, even though that might mean me being fired, but then I would try pivoting to CX but well CX don't want Qantas so my bet would be MH but well people are scared of MH so I guess I just have to go back to EK.

Correction: Qatar would be a better option than Emirates I think.
