Hi, I am travelling to Singapore for a Stopover and have an Accor Le Club status of Platinum. What do you think the likelihood of a room upgrade is if I book their standard deluxe rooms online?

Room upgrades for gold and platinum members is only in Sofitel, Pullman, and MGallery hotels. Currently there are none of these brands in Singapore (although a new Sofitel is opening there next year). Therefore the likelihood of an upgrade in the Novotel or Mercure is low.
Having said that it is not unheard of, and you may get lucky and receive an upgrade (I have a few times in various Mercure and Novotel hotels), but it is not a regular occurance. In summary if you want the premium rooms, you will unfortunately have to pay for it.

Hi Darren,
I suggest having your Le Club platinum card with you when checking in, and handing it to your checkin agent, and asking politely whether upgrades are available.
I've never had an issue with getting a room upgrade at a Mercure, but I've had to ask for upgrades each time at check-in, it's not automatic.
