award bookings - how do I search for partner airlines using QFF points?

I want to book in J return Mel to bkk in J. Have plenty of QFF points for 4 but when I search only QF and JQ flights show up. I know that OW airlines fly this route why can't I see any of them. I appreciate 4 J fares may be difficult to find but am happy to be flexible and even pay for one full fare myself. Looking at travelling Aug / Sept. Is there any way to show all of the options, I find the Qantas site restricts me to QF, EK and JQ

MEL-BKK? If you can't see any OW options (e.g. CX via HKG) you might need to ring up the call centre.

Yep, only TG & JQ fly non-stop on this route. CX award availability is visible online for QFF bookings, some other partners are not (MH, JL or QR).

obanpointer, 4 J seats will be very hard to find. Much of the J award seats are snapped up as soon as they are released ~350 days before departure.

I have not seen anything in BKK direction except QF, JQ and EK. And I do not believe that calling to call centre will help, though worth to try. I had seen other partners like CX in other routes, so try BKK-HKK-MEL for example. And yes, getting 4 J on the same flight would be luck as big as getting all 6 numbers right.

I have a check and there are plenty of J in CX BKK-MEL via HKG in Aug-Sep. Good Luck.

You may have already done this, but make sure the 'Search Qantas & Partner Classic Awards' box is ticked in the search area. I had the same issue, and ticking this box brings up all available airlines and combinations.

Annoys me with the Qantas system where they say there is an available business flight to LA from Perth and it will say your trip from Sydney to LA will be in Economy. its like what the!
