CX Upgrading to B777 on the HKG - SYD - HKG Service?

I read sometime late last year that CX was planning on upgrading one of the 4 daily SYD flights from an A330 to a B777. Has this been confirmed? If so which flight will it be. I am heading to London mid year and want to do the entire tip on CX B777.

The 77W is already operating four flights a week on CX138/139. As of the 1st of February I believe the 777 service will be daily on the route. Enjoy London!

Sorry forgot to ask, does the CX B777 that servcies the route have First? I know that CX has a mix of B777 with and without First. 

No, there is no F; they are operating the 777 without F on the SYD flight and I believe the config is referred to as 77G.

Reportedly their business as good as first on some airlines.

Travelled in CX Business SYD-HKG +HKG-PEK 3 times last year, what a great hard and soft product, and the MPC and Asia Miles is a great FF program. Great to see the 777 on this route
