Looking for recommendations for Beijing hotels? Advice?

Will be in Beijing in mid October after doing the Trans-Siberian with my father and am looking for advice for a mid/high market hotel for three or four nights in Beijing... key preference points are wifi, bathroom, and decent beds.

Park Plaza Beijing Wangfujing is good, close to Tian'anmen Square and Xidan shopping district.

Upper House, Sanlitun

Actually it's off-peak season in the middle of October, as the National Day's holiday hass just passed. So most of the hotels will offer big discount during that period.

Also it's the best season to visit Beijing, a bit cooler, not too windy and no haze. Highly recommended to visit the Great Wall and the Summer Palace to spot the red maple leafs.

I stayed at the Grand Millenium in Beijing in 2011. It was fantastic. Clean, modern, central and I couldn't beleive how good the rates were for a 5 star hotel. There's even Vegemite on yhe breakfast buffet. :-)

This place too was going to be my reccommendation.  Magnificent.

Hotel Regent - location, breakfast, Lamborghini dealer on site ;)

Beijing New World Hotel. Stayed there last month. 5-star with great rates. New hotel with a good service.
