Interested if anyone else has had bad experience with Qantas Cash? We had our cards cancelled the first day we were in the US due to what they described as a "technical glitch". Apparently it is to do with the different expiry date of our FF membership and Qantas Cash mastercard but this isn't very helpful when you are overseas trying to access your cash. Their administration is hopeless in getting things rectified. So many voice recordings to get through before you can talk to a human. Anyone else had this problem?

Use it all the time.  My FF ends in July, and my card expires in September.  Never had any issues using it in Oz or overseas.

Have never used Qantas Cash & if your having issues if suggest you look at the Citibank Plus Savings account. It's a savings account with no fees (incl foreign transaction fees) & has very good rates. The funds stay in AUD & there are no FX losses, nor load fees. I use the Citi card for cash withdrawals overseas & a 28 Degrees CC for everything else.

I find it useful to hedge for family holidays, having been caught in the US in 2008 with a rapidly descending AUD.  Would be nice to be able to change the pin.  I did have an admin problem when they set up a card for my wife and mis-spelt her surname.  Even though it did not match her QFF name it took some resolving.

We used ours in Europe last year, mainly Sweden, Italy & France, and generally the card worked well as a backup, but was hit & miss in servos in particular, and other small establishments.  There was no consistency in where we were declined.  We primarily went with it to obtain cash, and to lessen the spread of our usual access card details across the world. Would not be relying on it alone,   The two - three delay in uploading funds via BPay did not help though I believe they now have a direct credit facility available.
