What's the best star alliance program to join to get credit for my up coming Lufthansa premium economy flights?
Was thinking Air New Zealand or Thai?
What do you think?

Are you planning on taking anymore Star Alliance flights this year or in a couple of years time, such that you'll have enough miles to make a redemption booking? Or is this a once off trip?
If this is a once off trip, it might not be worth the hassle of accruing miles, as you need critical mass to make mileage accruable worth its while.

I have a United account (which I use quite rarely)
I think their FFP is quite all right:
- miles do not expire for as long as you add at least one mile each 18 months (possibly in hotels, car rentals etc)
- redemption opportunities are much-much-much better than on Qantas

Thanks
Not a one off, but a special trip.
Dont travel regularly but once or twice a year usually in economy.
Was a sq member but it expired due to lack of use.
Last trips (over last 3 years) have been to USA and nth America with QF and Hawaiian in y or premium.
So was thinking air NZ as they are near by and have regular flights out of syd or possibly Thai, as I'd heard they were good.
But will look at United. Thanks
