I just got my monthly statement from velocity and apparently you will soon be able to earn points at "participating BP service outlets".

It would appear that it will work similar to FlyBuys at Shell Stations: swipe your Velocity Card when paying. No other details of points earned I'm aware of. Just a case of waiting for an announcement now.

I filled up yesterday, grimacing at the $55 that could have been siphoned into my velocity account... Then I called up Bupa to alter my coverage (it's insurance time of year) and I though to myself "how long before a health care provider links up with a program?" Because I would sign in a heart beat.
I'm sure I'm not the only one on this forum who's a sucker for loyalty programs... I've already mapped out the nearest BP's to my house and work.

Qantas has hooked up with iSelect for health insurance but I believe you'll only earn points on the first year's premium...

I assume its the $5 = 1pt ? No doubt it will try to win mor customer database by spending more instore to get more points - ie: spend $5 also to get more points. I know where I would buy my newspapers each morning..
