I've just returned to Sydney from a Christchurch trip. J on EK and they use the Qantas lounge (used to have their own) I was astounded, It is quite a big Lounge and full. I was astounded that there was only one person to be seen. The lady on the door was also walking around picking up the food and drink dishes. As you can imagine it was a mess in the end. Even worse I could not find aone powerpoint in the whole place, literally. Has anyone successfully recharged their phone or plugged in their lappy at the CHCH Qantas/Emirates Lounge?

Isn't the Christchurch lounge a contract lounge i.e. standards are lower than the usual Qantas lounge?

I havent been to a QF Lounge for years...and wouldn't know what to expect. Clearly its off the pace.

It is a contract lounge for QF, JQ and EK operated by PlaneBiz, called the Maniana Lounge.
