Im trying to look at flying Thai Airways Business Class to Europe, however the connection times are more than 7 hours!! Could anyone explain why Thai airways has opted for the later departure from Sydney?

Get to BKK later day before and have a good sleep in hotel nearby airport - they abundant and cheap. Sleeping on proper bed and having proper shower does make difference even if you fly First.

One of the reasons why I never chose Thai, their connection times are always excessive. If you would like a few hours rest in between flights, you can rent a room at the Novotel BKK Hotel which offers half day rates.

I flew only 2 years ago, the connection times ranged from 1.5-2.5 hours to Europe. As the TG47 now in our Winter departs at 9pm instead of the current 3:40pm. Why the drastic change in time?!!
