I recently posted a query regarding the allocation of business class seating for 2 people travelling as a couple on an Etihad flight. For those of you who were interested, Etihad has been very responsive to our issue and has reallocated our seating so that we can sit together....a great way to end our 30th wedding anniversary celebration! Hooray for Etihad! Thanks again to all the seasoned travellers who shared their advice and experience. It's great to have a positive result to share!

I have had two emails from Etihad promising to look into an issue with change of times for flights sent in January and still no reply to my problem.
As a result of this failure to respond my future trips will not include Etihad in the future at this rate.

You cannot help me because it already happens and nothing can be done about this.
Long story short – our relatives traveled with Etihad Melbourne - Abu Dhabi – Moscow and we lost contact with her. I.e. she supposes to call us after landing in Moscow and never did. We knew that she prone to stroke and contact Etihad to find if she boarded plane in Abu Dhabi and disembark in Moscow. We been told that yes she did board and yes she did disembark. Then we asked if there was any accident with her in air. No, we been told, nothing recorded. However as we found latter she indeed has stroke in the middle of the flight and Etihad called ambulance in Moscow and dump her unconscious into ambulance. We indeed recorded all phones and emails with Etihad before flight and in such situation I would expect that carrier would do all possible to contact relatives. Or as very least share those contact with ambulance stuff. Not only nothing has been done in this regard, but also Etihad lied to us that she disembark without problem (I do not believe that such accident was not recorded – she was unconscious half a flight) and that lead us to search elsewhere and as result she was in hospital almost a day before we found her.
You can tell me that you feel sorry, but it changes nothing and I do not believe that you really feel that sorry. Also you may say that I overreact, but before doing that put yourself into those lady’s daughter shoos when she never knew where is her mother and even if she still alive.
Also some can put few more minuses on this post as well as previous one – I do not give a damn.
N.B. I realize that it is very difficult to prove or disprove that someone else will do better then Etihad in such situation.
