Flying to Hawaii this week on the 787, when I go in to edit my seats the plane seems quite empty, only a quarter full!

Flying to Hawaii this week on the 787, when I go in to edit my seats the plane seems quite empty, only a quarter full! does this mean that the flight is either hardly booked or Jetstar haven't assigned seats to people that haven't pre-selected them?

It may be very full and you may find that passengers dont all want to pay the $25+ fee per seat for pre-selecting online. 

Otherwise it may be very empty and give youself room to spread out!

What a waste of a good aircraft. Imagine the goodwill generated and premium earned if QF had operated the 787 instead. 

It will be great when Qantas finally get the 787, after many years of waiting.

Have they sent you an email offering an upgrade to Business for a couple of hundred bucks?  My son has been to Japan a few times with JQ and have NEVER failed to buy a cheap upgrade.

Nope no email yet, probably because I am travelling with my Son. Would surely do it, if it was offered!
