Any word yet on when Qatar Airways are likely to launch the A350 to Perth?

Any word yet on when Qatar Airways are likely to launch the A350 on the Doha to Perth route????

Considering the A350 holds less capacity than the popular daily B77W, I doubt they'll change the aircraft type for that flight. But perhaps launch a new rotation with the A350 is more likely, if they want to add more services than 7 a week.

I just flew Frankfurt to Doha on the new A350 2 weeks ago. I must say I was very underwhelmed!

Was sitting towards the back of the business class cabin and the open air, lobby entrance arrangement meant a lot of noise from Economy was drifting forward, screaming babies and all. Furthermore, the cabin seemed very cramped and not at all as roomy as their 777s.

There was surprisingly little difference in their inflight entertainment versus older aircraft. I had expected 100s more channels and choice, but that was not the case. Not sure whether it was an operational reason that they hadn't fully loaded the system, yet, or whether it will stay this way.

Only advantage really was the single seats versus their 777s. Overall, I much prefer the older aircraft and thought the A350 was very disappointing. Service unfriendly and meals also pretty poor, would do better on Emirates and many other carriers on any day.
