Accessing Dubai Emirates and AA LHR lounges as QC member without QC card? I am traveling very shortly to LHR with QF. I am not going to have my Qantas Club card with me. The QF website says to present your boarding pass and QC card to gain entry to the above lounges. Does anyone know if the "QC" printed on my boarding pass will be enough to gain entry, or will the lounge staff refuse access without the card? Anyone tried this recently?

Thanks

If your check-in is processed by Qantas, your boarding card should have this information printed on it. If check-in is processed by another airline, Qantas Club rarely gets printed (usually it's only OneWorld status or nothing at all). That may make not having your card an issue. I guess you could always log onto your account on your phone to demonstrate membership if you need to sate a lounge dragon (but you never know with lounge dragons who can be rather arbitrary).

The EK systems handle QF status and QC rather well, so even if checking in with EK, it will show on the boarding pass.
