Is there any way to get 1 Qantas Status Credit? I am currently sitting on 1199, my anniversary is coming up and I don't have any travel plans for before my anniversary at the moment. Reluctant, due to time and monetary constraints, to go on a joyride in order to get 1 Status Credit... Perhaps calling Qantas and reasoning with them? After all, in the past I've had my status renewed without even asking and well before getting anywhere near to retaining. Do people have any similar experiences? Thanks
There's no way to get just one status credit. The only way to get them is to fly and so you'd have to do a short trip like SYD-CBR for example. Qantas is usually very good at comp'ing people who are just under the limit so I would either cross my fingers or take that flight.
