Do you think there is a high chance of Emirates taking on AirNZ's 787-9 with their A380 between Perth and Auckland, Qantas will highly benefit from this I suppose.
Doubt it - don't QF have a seasonal PER-AKL run they now do? I think the east coast AKL runs only exist because of the natural path of those flights. They fly them to AKL then on to MEL BNE SYD and on to DXB.
