the key in that response is 'A' free biscuit.

if you are a little hungry in any way then dont rely on the airline food to satisfy that hunger and eat before you fly.

Some of the "snacks" they serve up are simply insulting. (Not that I get on a 1 hour flight expecting silver service)

Has anyone experienced the salsa and cracker combo? It's disgusting! The banana (cake) bread they serve in the mornings isn't nice either.

But the mainland cheese and crackers, often served on Sunday's, is a good inclusive snack. If they don't serve a snack of that standard, I don't think they should bother.

Well the best, but also the worst 'snack' I have had was one single tim tam on an hour and a half flight which departed at 5:30pm..

I think Virgin really needs to define what a snack sized meal is, like QF's snack and refreshment offering
