I am booked on QF128 HK-Syd 747 service on 19th

, a lot of the good seats already taken. Row 16 in upper deck appears to have more leg room even though it is not the exit row (row 14 all taken) Is this just a glitch in the QF seat plan online is there really a bigger gap for some reason ?

Also there is 1 bulkhead seat showing available row 11, would that be better? Just worried about have fellow pax climbing over me to get out in the middle of the night !

Appreciate any feedback, last time I used this service i had 5J single seat which was great,but already taken.

i just checked seatguru and If it's the version 2 747, then it does not appear that row 16 offers additional legroom but I could be wrong. Are seats 3e and 3f still available? This would give you and the person next to you direct aisle access? Although I do prefer a windo seat upstairs due to the extra storage space next to the seats. Enjoy your trip.

3e & 3f taken I guess , none of the nose cone area seats showing on the sear plan. 

Row 11 is the quietest on the B747. That would be the better choice IMHO. In reality when on-board, you'll notice there's plenty of room for passengers to jump over your legs without disturbing you, and i havent found it an issue in the past. Just remember to get the mattress (albeit thin) put on your seat before you bunker down for the night! Enjoy
