Has anyone else used their Virgin Card at BP and earned 2 Velocity Frequent Flyer Points for every litre of fuel purchased?

No, I'd rather pay less for petrol elsewhere and still get 1.5 points/dollar with Velocity Amex.

I'm using Woolworths egift cards, purchased through The Entertainment Book (5% discount), to pay for fuel at the Caltex/WW cobranded stations and groceries. Still able to claim the 2 QFF Points/$ spent.

I received 1.5 SIA FFP for each dollar on Krisflyer AMEX card and 2.FFP on Virgin Card. A search on MotorMouth identified that the BP at Silkstone had the cheapest fuel near Brisbane. There seems to be price war in Ipswich.

However, we still paying a lot more for our fuel than our southern counterparts.

All this effort to either save small amounts of money or gain small numbers of frequent flyer points makes my head hurt. I think I'll just plan to work several more minutes before retirement.
