Earn Status Credits on Classic Flight Rewards - Is this Qantas promotional email something that is sent out often?

Nope. Not it easy to get that flight either unless it domestic. But if you can get flight that you need it is damn good offer.

In my experience, I tend to get these offers probably once a year or so. They are targetted offers, not available to the general membership, but they are sent out in large batches (you'll see people post on forums like Australian Frequent Flyer when they go out).
