Does any one know if its possible to get admirals lounge access on an AA flight, that you have booked with a US code? I'm making some flight plans and Expedia is giving me all the flights I want but as US codes and I don't want to loose lounge access.

bodez,
Which cities are you looking at? At some ports US lounges have closed or rebranded as AA lounges. While the letter of the policy has it been updated, I think you are well within your rights, in the spirit of the policy to use the lounge.
Might be worthwhile to email Qantas and remind them on keeping content on websites current. In the meantime, I would call Expedia and tell them to look for those flights as AA code. If they are AA operated flights and inventory is still available on US codes, I believe AA inventory will also be available. If that is not possible, I would feign ignorance at the lounge.

You wont get access as it must be a QF or AA flight code so you may need to reconsider your options but then again I thought US airways were in to process of changing over to AA codes
Have a look at the link below for more info

Thanks TRB and henrus.
I didn't realise AA had tightened the access from their end. I hope this isn't a signal that Qantas might reciprocate?
