Shangri-la Kowloon. Hey Guys, Im tossing up between some hotels to book when I go to Hong Kong in September. Has anyone stayed at Shangri-la Kowloon before? What did you think about it? Thanks :)
We stayed there a few weeks ago and will be publishing our review soon. I agree with airADL's notes about the hotel. We were also impressed with the Chinese restaurant Shang Palace. It wil be getting a high rating from us.

I stayed there last year.
It is on the Airport Express run also which is good.
There is some nice restaurants nearby. Nice pool.
Rooms are decent size for HK. Harbour View is great at night.
I had no complaints. Very big comfy King Beds.
It isnt far to Nathan Rd onto the Star Ferry etc.
The steak restaurant is nice. But I hate paying through the noise for red wine and steak , but thats Aisa.

I recommend the Crowne Plaza at Causeway Bay overlooking Happy Valley Racecourse.
Its a bit out of the way but is my favourite.

Thanks for the reply guys!
A friend living on HK said it apparently has Hong Kong's 3rd best dinner buffet.
I read they give out 1 pocket wifi per room aswell, to use when outside the hotel.

Unless your business is in Kowloon, get on the Island. Staying on that side of HK is like coming to Sydney and staying in Parramatta!

Aw, c'mon. It's more like staying in North Sydney.
