I am travelling on BA from LHR to Vegas next month. am QF Platinum card holder, but not BA ff. Anyone know if I can use miles to upgrade my BA flight from LHR to Vegas and How?

No you cannot.
If a family member has Avios could they use those to try get an upgrade?
