If I were to pay at BP using my Velocity GlobalWallet card, would I only be able to earn points on that?

If I were to pay at BP using my Velocity GlobalWallet card, would I only be able to earn points on that? or would I be able to earn via the actual Velocity card as well?

I think so... because you first swipe your Velocity Card (before the EFT Terminal is activated), then you say you're paying on-card, so the operator would then activate the terminal - so to me, you would be able to get 1 point for $2 on Global Wallet and then 2 points per litre of fuel, not to mention 1 point per $1 spent buying stuff in the shop - so you may as well pick up a milk & bread at the same time... Double Dipping!

Yes, you can earn points both ways.
BTW in-store with BP, the earning rate is two points per dollar on non-fuel items (not one point per dollar), plus what you'd normally earn on your credit card or Global Wallet card.

The 'cheapest' award seat during non-sale times is 6,900 points plus tax.
Two points per litre = 3,450 litres before an award flight, assuming you don't earn points elsewhere.

and assuming 50L per week of fuel, without earning points anywhere else, it will take you 69 weeks to earn the cheapest award seat

It all adds up at the end of the day.I use about $168 a month on fuel due to my job but not sure how many l of fuel per month that buys me based on Unleaded 91 per week. That coupled with a domestic flight or the occassional trip up to Singapore on SIA on qualifying fare classes gets me closer to that movie voucher, shopping voucher and maybe car rental or free flight at some point.
