Hi... just want to ask a question which isnt really related to travel of sorts...

I'm an australian who has spent the last 6 years overseas and planing to head home in 2 months time.

i wish to open a debit account online and was wondering which banks allow for opening an account online which inlcudes (I.D Verification) i have my passport/drivers licence and medicare card.

I only know of citibank, is there any other banks that do online verification of i.d since i cant actually walk into a branch right now...

Call to CBA - I am sure that they can do something for you

If you have a scanner, I'm pretty sure most banks would allow you to scan and send them a copy of your I.Ds (passport, drivers license etc).
