Hello, I am booked on an SQ MEL>SIN>HKG flight in October.

I have booked via SQ website and quoted my Krisflyer membership.

Question: At Tulla, upon check-in, does anyone know (or tried) to amend their membership to Velocity - to enable earning SC and VA points?

If the website doesn't allow you to change it through Manage Booking (sometimes it's read only), the iOS/Android App usually does.

Failing that, you can quote your Velocity number at check-in in Melbourne and they'll update it for the whole booking.

However, you may want to double-check whether the ticket was booked into fare buckets which earn points and status credits under Velocity.

Not sure but what you could do if one still exists and you still have time is pop into the SIA office in this case Downtown Melbourne to swap it over.I used to use my Thai Royal Orchid Plus for Singapore Airlines prior to Velocity taking SIA on as one of their partners and had no problems doing the same thing by switching my memberships over to get the miles. One is better off if only a qualifying fare class to get their points under VA then any Star Alliance program member.
