Hi everyone,
I'm flying to Europe later this month and I have a question about the lounge situation in Terminal 3 at Heathrow - any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm flying from London to Dubai then on to Perth on QF2/EK424. I'm a lifetime Silver FF and also have Qantas Club membership. Normally this would entitle me to admission to the AA Admiral's Club in T3. However, it appears that the lounge closes at 6:30PM on Saturdays, which happens to be the day I'm flying back. Seeming as QF2 leaves at 9:25PM, is there any lounge I can access with my existing status. If there is - which one? And if not - why?
If anyone can help me with this it'd be great and much appreciated :)

The most relevant T3 lounge for your QF flight is the BA Galleries Lounge. However, your Qantas Club membership only entitles you to access Qantas Lounges when travelling on a Oneworld flight. QFF Silver status gives you a few benefits such as extra luggage, but it'll never get you entry into any Lounge.
You don't mention what cabin class you're flying in.

At LHR, Qantas Club members can only use the Admirals Club lounge. The BA Galleries lounge is out of bounds to Qantas Club members.
From the American Airlines website, their Admirals Club at LHR opens at 6 am and shuts at 9pm daily.
On the basis of that information I would say that you are able to gain lounge access for your flight on QF2.

Thank you for the answers - I have now clarified the situation. I took my information from the review of the lounge on here, which said that the lounge "is open from 6am to 8pm most days, but closes at 6.30pm on Saturdays." What I didn't see was that the article was published 4 years ago and as such wasn't the most reliable source..
Thanks for the clarification :)
