Redeeming some classic award flight through Qantas but for Cathay Pacific Business Class.

Redeeming some classic award flight through Qantas but for Cathay Pacific Business Class. can i choose seats? it is for me and my wife on our honeymoon so ideally we'd want the middle row seats. Does anybody know how to choose the seats?

Yeo – you just log in to the Cathay website to manager your booking with your booking reference number. 

If its an overnight flight I'd recommend sitting as far forward as possible so you are served ASAP and can then go to sleep (Cathay meal service is very slow), if its a day flight (or you're not planning on sleeping) I recommend the second mini-cabin - very private because its so small. There are really no bad seats in the worlds best business class though! Enjoy!

Although CX meal service is slow I tend to do the opposite! choosing the mini cabin for the overnight and request a meal to be set aside and they bring it first! :-) and then choosing as far forward during the day flight. ...

As qfflyer stated it's very easy to do on the CX site.  Once you have a booking reference number you're good to go.  From memory I believe you have to enter your full name in the name field.

Qantas customer care will also do this for you if u call.

It's funny how this question gets posted 24hrs after i worked out how to do it. I also booked a business class award flight with QF flying CX and selected my seats last night. No issues at all & managed to get middle seats for my wife and i. Very easy to use as 11sjw & qfflyer have mentioned previously
