Do QF Gold get all same status benefits with Emirates on New Zealand flights? I've seen varying reports that New Zealand flights are not included in the reciprocal lounge access and benefits.

Yes, QF Golds receive priority check-in, priority security (where applicable), enhanced baggage allowance, lounge access and priority boarding when flying Emirates trans-tasman flights.
I believe the limitation you're thinking about is that when flying on Qantas trans-tasman flights you cannot use the Emirates lounges and must use the Qantas, oneworld or contracted lounges.

Just make sure its a QF flight number on EK metal, to earn the most QF FF mileage and QF SC.
If you for some reason unluckily got an EK flight number, you earn less QF FF mileage and no QF SC.

Definitely booked a QF flight, although I've also now gotten an email from Emirates with an Emirates flight number... ( From calling emirates for seat selection I assume)
Should be fine I'm sure! :)

Do you know what that means, if you have an EK flight number?
Is this a reward or revenue flight.
The reason I ask, is that, if its a revenue flight, with an EK flight number, you get lower points, and also NO QF SC, on the lower classes it does not matter to some, but on the upper (higher) fares, it is, no QF SC means that you will have to work harder to get the SC by other means to retain QF SG.
If I were you, I would definitely call up QF and confirm that you do have a QF flight number, despite what EK says.
SC is the thing that is of most importance to me, anyway. ***I want to retain my SG or at the least PS by all means possible.*** And thats chasing all the SC I can get.

Also if EK flight number, no SB.
Indulge me this time round: as a QF SG
QF flight number AKL - SYD 2407 QF FF points with SB... 25 SC
EK flight number AKL - SYD 1341 QF FF points no SB... 0 SC
