Emirates early check in. I'm flying to PER in August from SYD, and I land at 4pm. My flight onwards to DXB departs at 10.10pm. What is the likelihood of being allowed to check in and use the Emirates lounge early? I'm flying first class on Emirates if that helps... Thanks for your help.
The EK423 will still be open for check-in so they may allow you to check in early for EK421. Normally the restriction is not from the airline, but whether the airport's baggage sortation system will be 'open' to handle the bags outside published check-in times. I am not familiar with PER to comment on this.
However, with which airline are you travelling from SYD to PER with? If you are flying on QF, you would be best asking at SYD for them to through check your luggage so that you do not have to collect them at PER.
Would kinda be a waste having an agreement between QF/EK if they cant do it.
In any event, they should do it, I am not sure on the domestic to Intl, but Intl to Intl they do. When wife and I flew from LHR to BNE, QF tagged all the way and our bags made the change with us at DXB. The same was true on our trip bag, with EK tagging all the way, and they changed with us at DXB (We swapped metal in both instances).

From Dubai to any city except for US destinations you can checkin 24 hours before depature when traveling in any class of travel
They actually have a special room which they use to store luggage from people who have checked in early

Thanks for the response, Hunrus. But I am talking about Perth airport. Will Emirates let me check in 5 hours before my flight at Perth?
