So I want to fly Mel-NY-Denver-LA-Mel and looking around booking directly with delta is cheapest 2 quick ones
1 - it quotes in AUD, but will their website charge in AUD or is it jus converting USD to AUD at current rate and charge will be in USD (and therefore attract additional fees)
2 - Am i correct in saying even if the VA plane has a Delta number (on my booking) status/points will be earnt at the same rates (assuming i bought a VA saver fare)
Ta in advance

When you book the flight from Australia, the payment originates from local currency, I have attached
a screen grab of my credit card for a flight I recently purchased.
As for points, even if the flight is operated by Virgin, as it's a delta ticket you will earn velocity points at Delta's earning rate and Virgin tier bonuses don't apply.

Ah right - theres the catch then, I wont earn the bonus points! Knew there had to be something in there to incentivise the booking via Virgin.
Thanks for your reply - much assistance :)
