What is the best OW lounge in BKK for WP flying AY in J to HEL dep 0855? Been to the new(ish) QF was wondering if there's a better option.....

The renovated CX lounge in Bangkok is the best one according to a lot of travellers.

I flew the same flight with AY in J last year and am WP. Had spent the night at the airport hotel so didn't have much time to fill in a lounge, but checked out the Louis Tavern CIP First Class Lounge, which is what was printed on my AY boarding pass. The QF lounge was closed when I was there. I didn't expect much from the CIP llunge but was pleasantly surprised. It was a bit of a walk but easy to find, with AY banners (and some others) at the door. I almost had the lounge to myself for the duration. There was a hot and cold breakfast buffet with sufficient choices, plenty of drinks including fresh juices and basic alcohol choices, including chamber (I didn't see what it was). The wi-fi speed was okay but not great, the chairs were comfy enough and the toilets were clean. There is a fairly large smoking room attached which I had totally to myself (smokers who are familiar with the usual airport smoking rooms will know what a bonus this is!). The main negative was that the desk staff were a bit surly, but it didn't spoil my short time there. There are no announcements as a number of airlines use this lounge and whilst it's perfectly functional, it's nowhere close to the standards of QF or CX First lounges or their J lounges for that matter, but for a short visit it was fine. I remember it was a bit of a walk to the gate AY were using (I needed to rush when I realised), so if you give this lounge a try, don't leave it to the last minute to leave.

I am not sure about the best, but generic lounge that offered by default to business passengers traveling with Finnair is incredibly pedestrian to say it politely. I think that anything else will be better. I had been in Emirates lounge and it streets ahead of generic one.
