I can't seem to find this information anywhere on the interweb. Most talk about pitch (vertical distance between seats) and seat width but not degree of recline. The 4 carriers I'm interested in are as follows:
1) Qantas (A380 & 747)
2) BA (A380 & 77W - new cabin)
3) CX (A330 & 77W)
4) SQ
Seems to me CX has the best recline but its purely anecdotal and not supported by any documented evidence or records. Any help would be much appreciated.
I know SQ's new PY seat is touted as having 8 inch recline. Unsure about the others. I know the seat width will vary between 77W, 388 and new A350 aircraft when they eventually arrive.
Thank you both! Watson374, I saw one of your post recorded in Oct 2013, where you explain the relationship between distance and degree of recline. Bloody awesome!!!!
Just one question, assuming the height of the seat back is constant, a greater distance of recline = a larger degree of recline?

8in rings a bell with me on QF. I also searched and found an AUSBT article that states 8in on QF
