Do you get QF Lounge access when traveling on a Business Class ticket
A friend has just booked Brisbane -> Melbourne -> Devonport and online is says your flight from Melbourne to Devonport will be in Economy but can he access the lounge due to the ticket being booked as a Business class fare type? I don' think he could but can't find anywhere that say why not.

Onward flight is not business, so theoretically wouldnt be allowed. Suggest just show the lounge staff in Melbourne your BNE-MEL boarding pass at the time of entry and explain the situation. Depending on the time of day, lounge host, and many other factors, your friend MAY be successful.

The Melbourne - Devonport leg is normally in a De Havilland DHC-8 400, and only has economy seating, I'm guessing he will have access to the lounge and the boarding pass will be Business Class ticketed.
