Does anyone have any educated guesses as to when Virgin will put Tiger on its Bali routes?

Does anyone have any educated guesses as to when Virgin will put Tiger on its Bali routes? I'm looking at redeeming some Velocity points for business class flights as there's some decent redemption rates for early next year. I don't want to be caught short though and put on a Tiger flight.

Which flight route are you looking at booking? I have a feeling that the A320, which Tiger uses, can't reach DPS from SYD, MEL or BNE. So perhaps the only routes to go to TT will be PER and ADL?

A load-restricted A320 (just like a 738) can do east-coast to DPS. Why anyone does this on a narrow-body (even in VA's pseudo-J) is beyond me. 

I've done MEL-DPS in VA J class twice. It was a great experience and certainly better than economy in a widebody aircraft.

Terms and conditions of changing to a low cost carrier would surely allow you be refunded if this case ever came about. I would say rest assured and book with confidence.
