I have a layover in Hong Kong and have booked Plaza lounge next month. I believe that there are two or three plaza lounges in Hong Kong. Any advise as to which one, are any busier than other.

Hi Dale, if you are flying with QF or one of their partners which gives you access to the Qantas lounge in Hong Kong, you couldn't do better. It only opened last year (complete revamp) and has already won' top lounge' in recent travel industry awards. I used it last October and it is quite simply superb - 5*. Cheers!

How long a layover? >6 hours and it could be worth getting on a train into the city.

Plaza Premium has 2 lounges in the Departures area - Near Gates 1 and 40 respectively.
1. Food: Both serve more or less the same stuff (e.g. fish ball noodles, cheong fun, siu mai, samosas, curry).
2. Crowdedness: The Gate 1 one seems to be slightly more crowded.
3. Decor: The Gate 40 one feels more comfortable as you get a lot more natural light coming through the terminal ceiling and windows.
If you need to use the showers whilst you're at the Gate 40 lounge, they're located at a separate facility nearby. The showers can get busy at times, but you can ask the receptionist to help you reserve one in advance.
