And what exactly wrong with your own sandwich especially considering that you doing relatively short domestic hop? I love flying JetStar Star class to BKK, but to be honest food they serving sometimes barely edible. It strongly seems to me that they recycle unused food from Qantas flights.

I am flying Jetstar in September. I was wondering if they offer food to purchase?

Yes they certainly do have food to purchase. There is an 'on-board' menu in your seat pocket.
Also if you have not booked yet, you will notice there is the option of purchasing and pre-selecting a meal, at the time of making the booking.

Are you flying international or domestic ? International routes you should pre-purchase as the on board menu is very limited.

if your traveling domestic dont bother, bring your own food/snack. if international i strongly reccomend you pre-purchase food. alot more convenient.
